Carly Sikina

Communications Assistant

Carly is a communications assistant for the Economic Law and Policy program. She primarily supports IISD’s Trade and Mining workstreams.

Carly has over 3 years of experience working in communications in the non-profit sector, with expertise in copywriting, media relations, and digital communications. Prior to joining IISD, she was part of the communications team at Transparency International Secretariat.

Carly holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies from the University of Calgary and a master’s degree in human rights and democratization from the Global Campus of Human Rights in Venice, Italy.

Based in Berlin, Germany, Carly speaks English and French and is learning German.
